There are lots of new faces around here and boy did you join at an exciting time!
If you haven’t heard, I wrote a dark YA reimagining of Beauty & the Beast called Iron Rose and, even before it has released, this debut has been receiving attention that I can hardly believe!
But before we jump into the exciting news, cover reveal, and exclusive early preorders, we always start with a pause.
The Pause
Take a moment to do something you need…
Close your eyes.
Stretch your neck or shoulders.
Slowly sip some water.
Maybe plop a few more ice cubes into your drink (it’s toasty out there!) and please get yourself a snack.
I’ll wait.
Because, despite the breakneck pace and demands of the world around us, we are not what we accomplish (or don’t).
You are valuable just because you are you, and you deserve to take care of yourself.

The Reveal
For the rest of the world, the cover reveal is slated for July 15th, but today is a very special day for you lovely folks…

And, I have to tell you, I think the hardcover design under the dustjacket is somehow even more stunning! Cover designer Emilie Hayne (@createexploreread) did an incredible job!!

Early Preorders
For you, preorders are open now!
Preorders are incredibly important to the success of a book.
When people preorder a book, it prompts people, bookstores, and algorithms to recommend it, which leads to more momentum, visibility and sales!
If money is tight, you can grab the eBook for the price of a coffee OR request it for purchase at your library so you and other beautiful readers can read it for zero dollars. Let’s go libraries!

Highlights from the Book Launch So Far
Iron Rose has received incredible endorsements, a beautiful Kirkus Review, the 5 Star Badge from Readers’ Favorite, and has been featured on several amazing podcasts (whose episodes will be dropping all throughout the last two weeks of July)!

I finished Iron Rose a full decade ago. After several years of querying, I lost hope that the story would go anywhere—it broke my heart to watch my dream shatter.
Last January, a miracle brought my dream back to life and into the hands of a small press that is launching Iron Rose globally on August 6th.
And I have worked so desperately hard to make sure I don’t waste that miracle.
